Letter from the founder
I'm Angus Moore. I build the systems that run companies.
I've been writing software for 15 years. I founded Angus Digital in 2017 and have worked with companies since then as a full-stack engineer, on teams from four people to a hundred.
Most of the last decade has been at Hipcamp, the outdoor accommodations marketplace. I joined in 2017 as the sole engineer on Youcamp, an Australian campsite booking platform, and migrated it onto Hipcamp in 2020.
I stayed through 2023. The team grew from 40 to 120 people and the platform scaled to millions of campers. I built the international and localization infrastructure, migrated SEO to Next.js, and helped roll out AI tooling across the team.
I've also set up internal AI tooling at HPT, human-performance technology. Engagements in 2019 and 2024.
